Grapevine Log CabinsOur 3 private cabins are rustic,yet with all the modern conveniences. Two cabins have lofts with twin beds and queen beds downstairs and one has a queen bed and pull out queen couch all on one floor.They all have microwaves, refrigerators, table and chairs, fireplaces, air conditioning,comfortable couches,and modern bathrooms. Light-entwined grapevines cast a romantic glow while comfy homemade quilts adorn the beds. Cookout on our outdoor gas grills. A picnic area is provided and fire grills, for sitting out at night in the moonlight under the stars. Wide porches adorn the cabins for relaxing . Everything for your enjoyment is furnished. Coffee , dishes, the bathrooms have fluffy towels,hair dryers, shampoos, & shower gels. We have a mile long hiking trail in which you can see deer sometimes,turkeys, birds. In the summer time you can pick blackberries on the trail. Wild flowers grow everywhere. And of course Ruby our dog will be glad to accompany you on your walk.In the fall season, the colors are beautiful,with leaves falling. A full breakfast is served in the morning at the main house where you can watch the colorful birds eating right outside the window and enjoy all the beautiful flowers planted all over. We have a log cabin gift shop with homemade quilts and much quilting things like wall hangings, table cloths, pillows, much more. Also we do painting here mainly on old windows. Birdhouses, many outdoor gifts, candles, much more. Grapevine Log Cabins is only one and a half miles from the Lacrosse River trail, which connects up to the Elroy Sparta trail in about a mile. We are 5 miles from Sparta and 25 miles from Lacrosse where you can take boat cruises on the Mississippi for a sight seeing tour or a dinner cruise on an old paddle boat or more modern one. Sparta has many good restaurants, golfing, the famous Butter-fest in June. Our other festivals are Motorcycles rallies, Grand National tractor pull in Tomah and the famous Cranberry festival in nearby Warrens and October-fest in Lacrosse. Canoeing,& kayaking on the Kickapoo are summer fun. We also have many good fishing areas. Winter fun includes, sno mo biling, skiing& down hill, at nearby Ft. McCoy or Mt.
