Atrium B&B
Atrium B&BOnly 1 1/2 hours east of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota in scenic Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the peacefulness of The Atrium Bed and Breakfast awaits you. The home is nestled on 15 wooded acres that abound with Wisconsin wildlife, birds, fems and flowers. Follow the winding trails through the woods along Otter Creek and picnic on the secluded little sandy beach. Sip a glass of Chardonnay in the patio gardens or stretch out in the double hammock in the wildflower glen. The Atrium Bed and Breakfast is named for its most impressive feature ... a conservatory room at the heart and center of the home. A palm and fig tree stretches upward toward a windowed ceiling peaking at 20'. And bougainvillea vines reach from the floor of the room to encircle the reading loft above. The fountain's trickling water brings the sounds of the outdoors in. Our contemporary home boasts magnificent, antique, stained glass windows, some of which are just for your pleasure, in your guest rooms and bathrooms. The Atrium B&B is wheel chair accessible. Wake to the aroma of fresh brewed coffee on a "wake-up tray" delivered to your door. Enjoy fresh-baked breads while we prepare your delectable three course breakfast, served to you in the dining room, atrium, or on a tray in your room. Out on the patio is wonderful, too, if the weather permits. Our menu changes daily to take advantage of our fresh Chippewa Valley grown fruits, Wisconsin cheeses, locally acclaimed breakfast sausages and wonderful Wisconsin products. Your typical morning menu will entice you with: • A fresh fruit cup served with a cinnamon lemon yogurt drizzle & cappuccino chip muffins • Grand Marnier Stuffed French Toast with warmed Wisconsin maple syrup and browned breakfast links • Pear Torte dessert with freshly brewed coffee The Atrium Bed & Breakfast has four distinctively decorated guest rooms, each with its own personality. For your comfort and convenience, all of our rooms have private baths, queen or king sized beds, TVs, CD player/radio/alarm, telephones, robes and hair dryers. The Vinery Room is so named because of its hand-painted wall which looks like stones with trailing grapevines, giving the room a bit of a "Napa Valley" feeling. The queen bed alcove is topped with honeysuckle vines as is the window viewing the woods. For the ultimate in privacy, you'll enjoy your own double whirlpool and gas fireplace, with breakfast served to your door, if you like. The Wisconsin Wicker Room affords a beautiful view overlooking Otter Creek. Decorated in crisp whites and blue, it is spacious and airy with a king sized bed and comfortable sitting area. It is conveniently wheelchair accessible. The room has a small refrigerator and private bath with its own lovely stained glass window, double sinks and double shower The Wisconsin Willow Room features a custom made willow four poster queen sized bed with dried flowers arranged within the twig canopy. The exclusively cream-on-cream decorating showcases the four gorgeous stained glass windows that grace the room. A private bath makes your hideaway complete. The very private two-room Woodland Suite pampers you with a cozy and romantic bedroom decorated in shades of soft greens with dried flowers on the queen sized pencil post canopy bed. The private sitting room features a lovely gas fireplace, its own TV with VCR, small refrigerator, cushy seating and "room service" breakfast area. Luxuriate in your own double whirlpool. Your private bath has its own, beautiful stained glass window.
